Privacy Policy
Damas Master is a checkers game you play in a web browser at damasmaster.pages.dev. This page explains what information the game uses, why, who can see it, and how you can delete it. Contact: neydperic@gmail.com.
Playing without an account
You can play against the AI, play Local 2P and solve puzzles without an account. Your player name, coins, gems, items, stats and settings are then stored only on your device (in the browser's local storage). We don't receive them. Your device also remembers which announcements you've read or closed.
What we collect with an online account
- Account details: your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash by our login provider).
- Private details: your full name (optional), your gender (male, female or prefer not to say) and your birthdate. Only you can see these; other players only ever see your player name. We use your birthdate to check you are at least 13 and whether you need a parent's permission to buy gems. It can't be changed after you save it.
- Profile: player name (your nickname), country flag, avatar emoji, color, bio, avatar frame, your 5-digit player ID and, if you upload one, your profile picture.
- Game data: your saved progress, coins, gems, items you own, online rating (Elo), wins, losses and draws, online games and their moves, rooms you create (including whether they're private), tournaments you join, and daily reward history.
- Purchases: if you buy gems, we keep the order number, which pack, how many gems, the amount and currency, and whether it was refunded. Your card details go to Paddle only; we never see them.
- Global chat: the messages you send to everyone.
- Friend chat: your friends list, friend requests, the private messages you exchange with friends, room invites, and whether a message has been read.
- Reports and moderation: reports you send (the reason you picked and any details you wrote), reports other players send about you or your messages, and any chat mute applied to your account.
- Discord (optional): if you link your Discord account, we keep your Discord user ID and display name so our bot can give you a league role and let you chat with
/say. Messages you send in Global Chat are also shown in our Discord server's chat channel, with your player name and flag. You can unlink any time in your Profile or with/unlink. - Feedback: if you send feedback, your star rating, your message, your player name and ID, and the kind of device (for example "android · phone").
- Technical data: our hosting and database providers process your IP address and basic request information to deliver the game and keep it secure.
Profile pictures
When you choose a picture from your gallery, the game crops it to a small square (256 × 256) on your device before uploading it. This also removes hidden information stored in photos, such as GPS location and camera details.
Every picture is checked by our staff before other players can see it. Until then only you can see it. Staff see the picture together with your player name and ID. If it's rejected you'll see the reason, and the picture is never shown to other players. Pictures can also be removed later if players report them.
Please only upload pictures you have the right to use, and don't upload pictures of other people without their permission.
What other players can see
- Signed-in players can see your player name, player ID, flag, avatar or approved picture, color, frame, bio, online rating, record, tournament wins and the global chat messages you send.
- Your friends can also see whether you're online and the private messages you send them. Nobody else can read your friend chat.
- Room passwords are stored only as a scrambled code (a hash). Nobody can read them back, not even us.
- Your email address, full name, gender and birthdate are never shown to other players, and players never learn who reported them.
- When you share an invite link, it contains the code of your room or tournament, not your personal details.
How we use it
- To run your account, save your progress and let you sign in on other devices.
- To run online matches, private rooms, tournaments, leaderboards, friends, chat and announcements.
- To keep the game fair and friendly: the server checks every move, and chat is filtered automatically. Links are blocked, listed bad words are hidden, and spam and shouting are limited.
- Automatic actions: a chat message reported by 3 players is hidden. A player is muted in chat for 24 hours after 3 behaviour reports from different players in a week, or 3 hidden messages in a week. If you think a mute was a mistake, email us and a person will look at it.
- To read your feedback and improve the game.
Ads
The game may show a short ad between games (never during a match) and offers optional videos you can watch for free coins. Where you play decides who shows them:
- On our website and in our Windows and Android apps: ads come from Google (AdSense / H5 Games Ads). Google may use cookies and your device's advertising identifier to show ads and measure them, and personalized ads only with your consent where the law requires it (you'll be asked in a consent message). See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- On CrazyGames: ads come from CrazyGames under its own privacy policy.
- On other sites such as itch.io the game shows no ads.
We never give advertisers your email, name, birthdate or chat messages.
We don't sell your data. Coins and gems are in-game items only; they have no money value and can't be cashed out. See the Terms.
Who can access it
Only us and the staff who help moderate the game. Staff can see pictures waiting for review and reports, and can approve or remove pictures. We don't read your friend chat unless a player reports a problem and we need to check it, or the law requires it.
Services we use
- Supabase stores accounts, game data, chat and profile pictures, and runs the game server.
- Netlify hosts the website.
- Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd) is our reseller for gem packs. When you buy, Paddle processes your name, email, country, payment details and IP address under its own privacy policy.
- Discord runs our community server. Global Chat messages, tournament news and the leaderboard are posted there, under Discord's own privacy policy.
- Google AdSense shows ads on our website and apps, and CrazyGames shows ads when you play there (see Ads).
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr deliver fonts and a code library; they receive your IP address when the page loads.
Deleting your account
In the game: open your Profile (tap your avatar), then under Online account tap Delete account and tap again to confirm. This immediately and permanently deletes your account, profile, player ID, profile pictures, coins, gems, items, friends list, friend chat messages, global chat messages and the reports you filed or that were filed about you.
By email: if you can't sign in, email neydperic@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and we'll delete the account within 30 days.
Finished online games and tournament brackets stay in other players' history without your name attached. Feedback you sent is kept without your account attached. Data on your own device can be removed by clearing the website's storage.
How long we keep data
- Your account data is kept while your account exists and deleted when you delete the account.
- Pictures that were rejected or replaced are never shown and may be deleted from storage at any time.
- Purchase records are kept as long as the law requires for accounting.
- Server logs kept by our providers are removed on their regular schedule.
Children
Damas Master isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. You must enter your birthdate to create an online account, and accounts for players under 13 can't be created. Players under 18 need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy gems. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
You can see and change your profile in the game, remove your picture, delete your account at any time, and contact us to get a copy of your data, correct it, or object to how it's used. If you live in Morocco, you also have the rights given by Law 09-08 on personal data protection, and you can contact the CNDP. Elsewhere, your local data protection law may give you similar rights.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Important changes will also be posted as an announcement in the game.
